What's In Store For 2007

2 days more to go before the spectacular fireworks in Sydney's Harbour Bridge will be lighted. A symbol of a new and fresh start for the coming year. But what's in it for me in '07? A very big QUESTION MARK indeed.

O well, I will be beginning my life in '07, come July I will officialy be in the "40" club so to speak. I don't know where my journey through life will go... I am just praying and hoping for the best. I am close to accepting facts in my life...(sorry, but those facts are just for me to accept and think about) Sad it may seem but what can I do???

Have a HAPPY and Prosperous New Year to all!!!

NBA Brawl

Last night's game between the Denver Nuggets and New York Knicks turned out dirty when the supposed to be "blown-out" game ended in a free for all brawl. The fight started just as Denver's 123-100 victory was wrapping up, and 10 players were ejected.

It started by a hard foul by Knicks' Mardy Collins preventing Denver's JR Smith from an easy basket by grabbing him around the neck and taking him to the floor. Smith got up and immediately started jawing with Collins, and Robinson jumped in to pull Smith away. Anthony shoved Robinson, and Robinson and Smith then tumbled into the front row while fighting. Just as things appeared to be calming down, Anthony threw a hard punch that floored Collins. Jeffries sprinted from the baseline toward halfcourt in an effort to get at Anthony, but was tackled by a Denver player. By the time security finally contained Smith, the players were nearly at the opposite end of the court from where things started.

Rumors are accusing Nugget's coach George Karl of "rubbing it in" to Knick's coach Isiah Thomas as all 4 Denver starters are still in the court despite the blown out game. Thomas was caught on camera talking to Carmelo Anthony warning him not to drive to the basket and dunking the ball anymore.

Both coaches are spared from suspensions.

In my humble opinion, Thomas DO NOT HAVE any right to tell oponents players what to do and not to do! He should be the one given the harshest punishment by the NBA. BE responsible enough!

Congratulations Abigail!

My sister just graduated with her second Bachelor's Degree. She is already a Registered Nurse here in Australia. She graduated from the Australian Catholic University (ACU) yesterday. Tatay, Heidi, Jil and myself attended the "pinning ceremony." After that we went to Star City to have dinner.

Well done Abi!

Why Congress Is Hell Bent On Con-Ass

Bad assess in the Philippine House of Representative are hell bent on clinging to power until 2010. Despite the Supreme Court's ruling of "no" to charter change, these sinister congressmen who do not have anything good to do for the country and who have nothing to boast except for their number in the house are resorting to different tactics just to convene the "constitutional assembly."

Why are they so desperate to do this? Probably it is very obvious that the coming 2007 elections will surely give them a hard time. Most if not all of those in favor of the "Con-Ass" are sure losers in their respective places. Money is another thing, imagine if there's no election next year, they will save millions of pesos they are suppose to spend for campaigns, terrorism and vote buying! A big bonus is the time and energy they will save if there will be no elections. Above all of these, the supreme ruler in the palace gets a chance to run again in 2010 as a representative of her beloved "parol" producing province and gets a chance to be Prime Minister

What the Filipinos should do is to block all efforts in convening this "Con-Ass" because these bad-ass politicians will surely go for it no matter what it takes...

Just my two cents worth!

My Christmas Wishlist

18 more days to go before Christmas... Time to celebrate for the coming of our Saviour. But are we all really prepared for His coming??? I think its not yet late for us to repent, do penance and do good deeds for us to be worthy of His arrival. Maybe its time for us to accept Him in our lives as the true and only Lord and Saviour!

I wish this Christmas season be meaningful to me.

Merry Christmas!
