What's In Store For 2007

2 days more to go before the spectacular fireworks in Sydney's Harbour Bridge will be lighted. A symbol of a new and fresh start for the coming year. But what's in it for me in '07? A very big QUESTION MARK indeed.

O well, I will be beginning my life in '07, come July I will officialy be in the "40" club so to speak. I don't know where my journey through life will go... I am just praying and hoping for the best. I am close to accepting facts in my life...(sorry, but those facts are just for me to accept and think about) Sad it may seem but what can I do???

Have a HAPPY and Prosperous New Year to all!!!

Happy New Year to you and your family.

So you are decided to practice in the Philippines permanently?

My immediate family (I, my wife and my children) will be migrating this 2007. I will go first for 6 to 8 months to look for a stable job. I have accepted the probability that I will not be able to practice as a physician anymore.

By the way, what made you leave the pinoy exodus mailing list?

Good luck. Happy New Year again.

If only I can have it my way, absolutely I will migrate abroad. Good on you mate, you and your family are leaving soon. Its alright if you can not work as a doctor in the country you will be going to. Nobody knows your a doctor in the Philippines anyway.

Sorry if I unsubscribed from the yahoo group, its flooding my inbox with mails, I think I have nothing to do with. Besides, I reckon I have nothing to contribute there.

So, what country are you going? BTW, do you know me in person?

We are going to NZ. No, I do not know you in person.

If you do not mind, I will put you back in the group but set it at no emails. That way you will not get any email but you can post in the group whenever you feel like sharing.

You will be a big help just by sharing your knowledge and experiences in Australia--visa applications, medical career options, etc.

Happy New Year again.

P.S. The difference between your situation and mine is that my wife and I do not have family support for the migration. Both sides of the family feel we are not being aggressive enough in making our finances good here. By being aggressive, you know what I mean (taking shortcuts, etc....corruption in short).
Unfortunately or fortunately, my wife and I do not share their "values". We still believe in honesty and hard work. We believe God is always watching. In the end, those who are just and yearn for justice will be filled.

Sorry for the ranting.
