In Your Face!

Its been more than a week since the elections. As of today, the results as per COMELEC's count show that only 3 out of the "magic 12" are from Macapagal-Arroyo's "Team Unity" ticket. 7 are from the opposition and 2 are independent candidates. This is a very clear message from the Filipinos. WE do not want the "midget" anymore! This is a slap on your face, madam!

Out of the 3 candidates from the administration, 2 (Angara and Arroyo) are supposed to be "oppositions" too. So only Zubiri is left for the administration. What is more insulting is that jailed senatorial candidate, Lt Sr. Gr. Antonio Trillanes IV, a suspected coup plotter, is in the thick of the fight. Also Senator Gringo Honasan, also a suspected destabilizer of the Arroyo government is winning. Are your cheeks not yet red from the slaps you are receiving!

The Urge To Leave

I can't deny how happy I was when I first received the email telling me that I was granted a PR visa. I was jumping and shouting for joy. At last... I can be with my family permanently in Australia, at last... a chance to work and earn a descent living, at last... a chance to begin my life anew, at last... a better haven for me, at last... my lifetime dream coming to a reality.

But all of the excitement immediately died down in an instant... many things came across my mind. What about Annie??? What about our old house??? What about my friends??? What about my badminton buddies??? What about my private practice which is starting to pick-up???

Suddenly my urge to leave the Philippines became less of a priority. Probably I 'm just afraid of stepping to the other side. I hope all will work out well in Austraia, GOD willing.

What's In It?

My biggest question to stupid politicians is this, "WHAT IS IT IN POLITICS THAT DRIVES YOU TO SPEND WAY BEYOND YOUR MEANS AND EVEN DRIVES YOU TO KILL???"

Please do not answer me with... "I just want to serve my countrymen..." That's BULLSHIT!

Politically related killings are one the rise nowadays... Tsk! Tsk! Tsk! A mirror image of how desperate politicians are... Desperate to have power and money! Poor Juan dela Cruz. I think this will NEVER END!

Happiest Day Of My Life

I consider today, 2nd of May 2007 to be the happiest day of my life! I finally received VISA GRANT Class BQ subclass 139 (Skilled - Designated Area Sponsored Visa).

Now I can migrate to Australia permanently and be with my family there!
