Australia Decides On Saturday

On the 24th of November 2007, Australia will hold its federal elections. It is a race between the ruling coalition party, the Liberals and the oppositions, the Labor Party. John Howard is seeking re-election as Australia's prime minister but Labor's Kevin Rudd has the edge in all surveys up to the moment.

Elections here is very different from the Philippines, no campaign posters that make our country filthy, no vote buying, no "Hello Garci." If you are not from Australia, you won't even know that the elections is just 2 days away.

Oh well, may the best party win. I'll just be lurking from the outside, observing...

Who is okay? I know Howard is yucky. He served as a tuta of Bush. He was just lucky that during his term, China needed a lot of commodities which fueled Australia's boom.
